NO RESERVE - 1983 Jeep CJ7 Perfect Parts Jeep or Farm Vehicle - I purchased this Jeep from a guy in the mountains of Colorado. He had been working on it off and on for 7 years then decided to sell it as a project to someone else. I purchased it thinking I would part it out but this Jeep runs and drives. It is really hard for me A. time and B. that it is a small block chevy and runs great, it starts right up on first crank. I personally do not have the time or patience to part it out so I'm offering it on eBay as a parts vehicle or project like it was intended for me. Small Block Chevy 350 v8 Motor: This motor starts every time easily and runs good, it has newer exhaust and is a push start starter ignition. The key I have unlocks the steering wheel which is necessary in order to drive it. Transmission/Drivertrain/suspension/Transfer Case: The transmission is a T176 that shifts easily, smooth and doesn't crunch or grind. The clutch is sticky and grabs easily, it is very firm. The Suspension is a 4 or 6" spring with extended shocks. The transfer case is a Dana 300 but the front driveshaft is not installed and must be in order to have working 4x4. The Tcase easily shifts in and out of 4x4. Under Carriage: The frame was dipped in POR15 and it is in excellent condition (view photos). Tires/Wheels: The tires are BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM 32x11.50x15 with approx 50% tread life remaining. The wheels are steel 15x8 american racing 15x8 and in good condition with some surface rust showing. Body/Paint: This CJ7 is from CT originally and the original CJ body was removed and a Wrangler YJ body tub was installed. The jeep does not have rust on the body, it did have some bondo work on the front cowling by the hood where some rust discoloration is showing but no thru rust anywhere. The front clip is a CJ and is lack luster, its flat black. The wrangler tub has multiple dings/dents and scratches on each side (view photos). It has a noticeable tilt to the drivers side, someone mentioned this is typical on CJ7s but it is noticeable and could be suspension related or ? I'm not sure. Interior: The headlights, wipers, turn signals etc are not hooked up. The interior is only front seats a steering wheel and push start ignition. The dash is missing as is the plumbing/wiring that goes with it. I am including many parts to get this Jeep back together but you will need a dash. Both seats have seam separations. But, the title was registered to a business and that business did not sign off on the title. I did a google search to locate the business but it has since gone out of business however I did some searching and found a gentleman who owns another business and I'm hoping he was the Jeep owner. I can't guarantee anything but will update this listing as soon as I make a couple calls monday. I have a call out to the guy I bought it from but since this has been a project of 7 years I doubt he has the contact info. Auction Details/Payment: All Sales are final, sold as is, where is and without warranty. Please settle all questions and concerns before placing a bid and winning the auction. I do my best to illustrate the Jeeps condition but I may have missed something. It is a used Jeep and 33 years old, it may have imperfections that I may have missed. A $500 non refundable deposit must be paid within 24 hours of auction end time via Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction end time by an electronic bank transfer or cash in person. I accept all cashiers/certified checks however they can take up to 2 weeks to process and clear. I will not ship the Jeep or let it go until all funds have cleared. Once funds have cleared I will overnight the title. I am not responsible for any out of state inspections or emissions requirements including here in Colorado.
