Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE - 1980 Jeep CJ7 LAREDO 4x4 Rare first year CJ7 Laredo - Chesnut Brown / Tan interiorA 2 owner, very clean Jeep CJ7 Laredo that is incredibly smooth, drives easily in traffic, town, on the highway and even in the mountains. This Jeep was towed behind an RV for years before it spent the last 10 years in a Garage in Denver. I am cleaning out my CJ7 collection and this would make a great summer topless jeep, weekend warrior or even a daily driver. It is a sharp Jeep that gets a lot of attention, the chestnut brown is a pretty color. Motor: Stock 6 cylinder 4.2L 258cubic inch runs great and idles perfectly. I have noticed a few times if I let it sit for more then a few days I have to tap on the carb by the fuel inlet, otherwise if I drive it one day then the next it starts right up with a couple pumps of the gas. I also sometimes notice a backfire out the tail pipe, only under pressure or heavy load IE higher RPM 2nd-3rd typically. The Motor doesn't appear to leak oil, I am not seeing any leaks on my garage floor either. Transmission/Drivertrain/suspension/Transfer Case: The transmission is a T176 that shifts easily without any whining, crunching, vibration or chatter. The clutch is light and smooth, the transfer case is a Dana 300 that shifts easily in and out of 4x4. The suspension is upgraded, I believe 3" it sits nicely and drives very smooth. It reminds me of a stock Laredo but has a lift and 32" tires. Hardtop:It is in good condition and has a pop up sunroof and factory tinted windows. Under Carriage: The undercarriage and frame are in excellent condition and nearly rust free - there is discoloration and surface but no thru rust. Tires/Wheels: The tires are BF Goodrich All Terrain KO 32x11.50x15 with approx 90% tread life remaining. The wheels are Aluminum alloys 15x10 and in excellent condition. Body/Paint: This Laredo has a very clean body, the paint is very shiny, lots of luster and very reflective. The side decals were removed by the original owner but the Jeep appears to be original paint and really clean. The Rear quarters in the rear both have some bubbling under the decals and the passenger side has some paint that has rubbed off (view photos). The body overall is very clean, the front passenger fender has a small ding/dent upfront and the hood shows a few small dings and the windshield frame has several sand chips. Again the paint is beautiful and has lots of life left. Interior: The interior is original, the front seats have seem separations on each seat. The drivers seat is torn and could be fixed by a auto interior specialist. The front carpet is in ok shape, a little dirty and could use some steam cleaning. The back of the Jeep does not have carpet but doesn't have any rust. Everything on the dash appears to work without problems including the horn, turn signals, heater, aftermarket radio, speedometer, windshield wipers etc. The dash pad is in good condition and same with the aftermarket console. An easy fix to the front seats is to cover them with sheep skin, this is common. Extras:Includes a bikini top and the front tow bar set up with tow bar. Overall: This is a very nice, clean, original, classic and rare Jeep CJ7 Laredo. Auction Details/Payment: All Sales are final, sold as is, where is and without warranty. Please settle all questions and concerns before placing a bid and winning the auction. I do my best to illustrate the Jeeps condition but I may have missed something. It is a used Jeep and 36 years old, it may have imperfections that I may have missed. Do not hesitate to ask questions or come see it in person. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as this jeep is listed for sale locally. A $500 non refundable deposit must be paid within 24 hours of auction end time via Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction end time by an electronic bank transfer or cash in person. I accept all cashiers/certified checks however they can take up to 2 weeks to process and clear. I will not ship the Jeep or let it go until all funds have cleared. Once funds have cleared I will overnight the title, emissions voucher and bill of sale to you. I am not responsible for any out of state inspections or emissions requirements including here in Colorado. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, payments and arrangements however I will assist in the process. In the past I found it easiest to call Michael @ B&M Transport 1-606-354-3643. The Jeep must be removed within 10 business days of the auction end time.. Many of my auctions end by a phone call if you want to get the Jeep before someone else, feel free to calling or texting anytime. #720.25seven.988eight If you would like more photos or have any questions contact me at anytime.
