Vehicle Detail

1965 Corvair Corsa built as a driver, I just never drive it and it's time for it to go. Car has disk brakes in the front. Clarke's Ultimate Carb kit that runs two Holley/Weber 32/36 progressive carbs and linkage. 140 HP flat six with four speed manual transmission. I don't know if they are the original units that came with the car. Headers with new mufflers. New during the build: Paint with ghost pearl Z-28 stripes that are hard to see in the pictures. Body is solid with all metal replacement done the right way using panels from Clarke's Corvair. Carpet, headliner, door panels, leather interior from a wrecked Saturn coupe. Brand new air conditioning system. Dash completely redone with new gauges, LED lighting and wiring. Rechromed bumpers front and rear. All steel and rubber brake lines. Chrome air cleaners with logos. Clutch and throw-out bearing. Cooper Charger tires on used American Racing Hoopster Wheels. Electric fuel pump with oil pressure cut-off. Electric door locks and trunk release. Viton push rod tube seals to repair leaks. All weather stripping and window fuzzies. Lot's of other stuff I can't remember. Car runs and drives fine and has been reliable as much as I have driven it, about 1500 miles since build. There are a few scratches in the paint, I added pics. I have paint to match. Left to be completed: Carbs need to be rebuilt. I have the kits but I've never been good with carburetors. Trunk needs to be finished. I have the proper splatter paint just have not gotten around to it. Some little stuff in the interior; dome light, visors, etc. There is one tiny oil leak left that I haven't figured out. THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE A HEATER OR DEFROSTER. This caused the car to be relisted. I would prefer not to ship the car as I would like the buyer to inspect the vehicle personally, but will help with the shipping if you arrange it pay for it. $500.00 deposit thru PayPal, balance cash or cashiers check upon delivery.
