2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500in 2007 the Shelby GT500 was the first year of the comeback & fords partnership with Carroll Shelby again to create in 2007 the fastest production vehicle out there. And if this car wasn't hot enough already from the factory it was shipped to Steeda Motorsports to add even more performance upgrades to the car before it was sent to the dealer to sell. According to Steeda Motorsports in 2007 this Shelby was only 1 of 3 to have this package of upgrades In addition to the upgrades done by Steeda I also have added the following items to the car:Super Snake HoodFoose 20" Wheels with Nitto Drag radial tiresKooks long tube headers, high flow cats, & x-pipe (car sounds amazing)Autographed Carroll Shelby Dash plaque & Shelby Registry Certificate (signed by Carroll himself in 2011, 1 year before he passed away) Shelby engine dress up kitCar cover (car has always been stored inside)Optima BatteryGrey GT500 hood stripes & side stripes I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, but I will add to description later.Original Window sticker from Ford was $44865Steeda Package was an additional $14,195Additions I added total up to around $8,500 These Cars were so hot when purchased all dealers charged anywhere from $5k to $20k over sticker price, and couldn't keep them in stock! Whoever purchases this GT500 is getting a street beast, I hate to let it go but I just don't have time to take her out much anymore as you can see by having only 2516 original miles. I had wanted to take her to get dyno tuned & see how much horsepower she's putting out after adding the Kooks long tubes, high flow cats & x-pipe but just haven't had the time.From talking with engineers at Kooks & what I have heard from others & on forums, most of them when adding that package got an additional 30-40hp, but would have to be run on dyno to be certain. HOWEVER — the car you have ins one of three GT500s that we officially serialized as a Steeda / Shelby GT500 for that model year…..so indeed it is far more rare than just a regular GT500. We have seen recently where Steeda “serialized” vehicles are now increasing in value far above their regular Ford counterpart. This is especially true since we are now undertaking a major marketing and promotional effort to educate and update the performance enthusiasts about STeeda vehicles and how we craft them into superior performance products.
