Here is a nice 50 Ford 2 door sedan that is ready to drive and enjoy. I am listing this car for an elderly friend who did the car to use to drive to his coffee clutches and to haul his two dogs around with him. Unfortunately an illness has taken most of his eyesight and can no longer drive. There wasnt any real major rust on the car except for the drivers side floor and rocker area where they all rust and these areas were repaired properly with new steel panels. There was no other major damage on the body. The owner prepped and painted the car with Gloss black urethane paint which shows well but does have flaws here and there. The hood and deck lid have been shaved and the hood mascot is off a Packard. The side trim is from a 55 ford. The grill, bumpers, door handles and hubcaps are new chrome and look great. Inside the trunk is original and in good shape. The red vinyl interior is all new including the headliner. The back seat has been removed in order to haul his dogs and is nicely upholstered and carpeted. All gauges on the dash work including the clock. The radio does not work. The motor was rebuilt app. 15000 miles ago and has just had a complete tuneup and all new belts and hoses installed. It runs smooth and quiet. The single exhaust is in great shape but stops at the muffler so it would need a tailpipe.Owner planned duals for it. Electrical has been converted to 12 volt . The trans shifts nicely with no noises. Car has a brand new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. The brake system is completely redone with all new wheel cylinders, lines and hoses, master cylinder, shoes and turned drums. The tires are brand new Firestone wide whites. I am sure I have forgotten something so please ask questions or if you like ask and I will provide the owners phone # and you can speak to him directly. All in all if you are looking for a cool car that you can drive and enjoy without a lot of worry here it is.I feel the starting bid is a bargain.
