This truck has a clear title, current registration and current state of NH inspection, even a historical copy of its original factory order slip (build sheet). It is garage kept and maintained. I only know of a few others in the world that are restored road worthy examples. This one is powered by a cummins diesel positioned under the bed to ensure that the originality of the truck was undisturbed. The previous flat head 6 remains in its original location under the cab minus the drive shaft. This truck was designed by Dodge during the 1930's so, this will turn, ride and stop like you expect of a commercial vehicle of that era. When you step on the gas it will accelerate and go through the gears like a modern truck. The rpm output to the propeller shaft is not dramatically different than the original gas engines so you should not expect a great increase in top end speed from due to the diesel. In the past I have looked into further performance increase modifications but came to the conclusion that I had achieved my optimal balance between drivability and originality.
