Vehicle Detail

1975 Ford Bronco for sale. I purchased the Bronco in 2006 in Colorado, where it had been located since at least 2001. Prior to 2001, I don't know where the Bronco lived. From 2006-2009 I had the Bronco in Los Angeles and San Diego, then moved to Colorado in 2009 where it has been ever since. The odometer read ~14,000 when I bought it (I assume that was 114,000) and now reads 20,357 so I've put ~6,000 miles on it in the last 10 years. All of the work listed below I did in 2007-2008. I didn't save all receipts for new parts that I purchased but I do have >$5,500 receipts and will provide them with the Bronco. Additional photo album Video of cold start I took about 2 weeks ago (it hadn't been started for a few weeks before this video) Driving around video from last week General Description: The Bronco runs and drives good. I haven't had it registered since 2012 so it hasn't seen much use in the last 3 years. A few months ago when I decided to sell, I bought a new battery and it fired right up; I drove it around for ~10 miles with no issues. That said, this is an old truck that hasn't seen much action recently so if you plan on driving it a long distance I highly recommend you have it checked out first or you are a handy person that enjoys adventures. I replaced most of the body panels that had rust (floor boards, rockers, rear quarter panels were TIG welded in); other parts were bolted in with new SS or grade 8 hardware. The only engine/drive train work I've done is install new hubs, a carb rebuild kit and I rebuilt the automatic transmission. Engine/Mechanical/Electric: The engine is a 302 with carb; it's mostly stock but doesn't have the smog pump or catalytic converter. I was told by the previous owner that they had it rebuild 5,000 miles before I bought it (so ~10,000 miles ago). It has always run great since I've owned it and burns no oil. As is, it will not pass smog check in Boulder county without the smog pump and the bill of sale will state that. The power steering squeals a bit when cold (I think the belt needs to be tightened.) The transmission is a 3 speed automatic, it shifts a little hard but has all new internal components with probably less than 2,500 miles on it (it could probably use a new filter and fluid change). Brakes haven't been upgraded, there are drums all around. It has a lift kit but I don't know what it is (was there when I bought it). I believe the axles are stock, Ford 9" in the rear and Dana 44 up front. The 4WD worked fine the last time I used it (which was a while ago). I replaced the 12 gallon gas tank with a plastic reproduction one when I first bought the Bronco. I installed a new Painless wiring harness back in 2008. It still needs the reverse lights hooked up, needs a licence plate light, the horn isn't hooked up but I bought a new aftermarket steering wheel and horn button which will come with it (see pictures). The Bronco has no heat and I don't have the heater fan or any of the controls. At the time, I was using it as a summer vehicle in San Diego so I never bothered to put the heat back in. See pictures for the undercarriage, there is surface rust but I don't think anything is in need of replacing. With some work, I think the undercarriage could really be cleaned up nice. Exterior: There is very little rust on the body. I've replaced the floor boards, rocker panels, door posts, rear upper and lower quarter panels, tailgate, I welded on a custom rear bumper (~5" steel pipe) and new roll cage. The body work and paint is decent but certainly not show quality. The whole thing could use a good wax/compond. It has an aftermarket fiberglass hood that was on the Bronco when I bought it. I have the doors but they are not installed and need to be put back together. The hinges and door panels need to be painted and the door panels and other door components need to be re-assembled. I took the doors off to paint and never put them back together because I liked driving it around door-less. I'm 99% sure I have all of the parts needed to put the doors back together. It doesn't come with the tire mount or brackets. It also doesn't have a hard top. I have a Besttop soft top and bikini top, both of which are in decent shape but not brand new. Interior: The entire interior is finished with roll on bedliner; it could probably use a fresh coat. I have the rear bench but it isn't installed. The front seats are Hunsaker bucket seats on custom brackets with Impact harnesses. The driver side seat is pretty faded. It has a Tuffy glove box and center console box. The console has a marine stereo system with 4 waterproof speakers.
