Great car, we are the third owner. Full and honest disclosure... No dash warning lights, no IMA warning, no check engine. The maintenance light is on, so it is time for an oil change. The transmission is starting to go, as they do. It has the unable to downshift into second problem, but also a transmission seal or bearing issue. I honestly don't remember which, basically it makes noise in gear. I have driven it for some time with this issue, and would continue to, but found another Insight to replace it. My trusted mechanic said it needs a transmission rebuild. I know you can get a rebuilt one for under $700, but I don't need two. The battery pack is strong, it is a MaxIMA from Bumble Batteries, installed in 2013. It holds a charge and is fully charged, I can't fake the photo. Lifetime MPG is 53.5, and it has been a great car. It has some scratches, and a few minor dings. The tires are in good shape, maybe a year or two old. It has had regular maintenance and passed Delaware inspection last summer. It will come with plates, but a higher number. (It's a Delaware thing) The floor mats are gone, but there is a JVC stereo with AUX connection for music. I did remove the rear speakers, so there are openings behind the seats where they were. I installed the option years ago, so moved them to our lower mileage Insight.
