I am the original owner of this motorcycle, bought new in the summer of 2004. The bike has always been garage kept. No accidents, tip overs, incidents EVER, of any kind! The bike runs great, no issues at all. The 1000cc V-twin sounds great and with an advertised rear wheel horsepower of 108 hp and nearly 70 ft-lb of torque it is fun and powerful. The tires are new (Spring 2016) Michelin Sport Power dual compounds. I replaced the battery last summer. The bike is completely original except for the Suzuki Accessory fender eliminator. I still have the original, uncut rear fender which is included with the bike. I maintained the bike myself and it had oil and oil filter changes every fall before storage. I performed the other required maintenance on the bike when called for. The bike was always garage kept and there is no sun damage or other weather induced wear. The bike is close to flawless, but there are some minor cosmetic items to point out: small marks on the rims where the original factory wheel weights were located and some small scuff marks on the rear footpeg brackets from tie down strap rubs. I have included pictures of these areas. The owner's manual and tool kit are still with the bike. I am also including a copy of the factory service manual. The bike is normally located in Dearborn, Michigan (near Detroit), however, it will be in Clifton Park, NY (near Albany) for the week of 7/4. Please contact me if you have questions or would like to arrange to see the bike before bidding. The bike is available for local pick-up in either location if convenient for the buyer. I will also ship the bike, but the buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping. I will gladly deliver the bike to a shipping terminal near either Detroit or Albany and/or work with your shipping company on pick-up specifics. I only carry liability insurance on the bike, so I cannot allow any test rides, I'm sorry. The bike and title cannot leave my possession before I have payment in full. I prefer cash in person, but I will also meet you at your bank to receive cash (assuming your bank is a reasonable drive from Dearborn, MI or Clifton Park, NY). I will also accept electronic transfer of payment sent to my bank if you would prefer. Once I have payment in full, if you ride the bike and have any issues with the operation of it, I will gladly refund your money (assuming nothing occurs during your ride). I don't mean to be difficult regarding the transaction, but I cannot risk injury to you, or the bike, until it is legally in your possession.
