Up for auction is my 1996 Rav4 2 door coupe. The 2 door versions of these little Ravs is very hard to come by, and this car is very solid. The odometer currently reads about 323,000, but the car runs very smooth and quiet. She is not going to win any beauty contests just yet as the paint and clear coat are baked, but the car is very solid, and runs very well. The only reason for selling this car is that I have found an AWD soft top version of the car. I do have a carfax on the Rav, and there is a minor accident reported back in April 2014. According to the prior owner, the car was backed into in a parking lot. The only evidence I see of the accident is a minor scrape in front of the driver rear wheel well As I mentioned, it runs and drives very well, and does not leak any fluids. What has been done since I have owned the car: New rear shocks Changed out the oil pump housing seal and cam seal, along with valve cover gaskets New timing belt & distributor What still needs work. Drivers seatbelt sometimes retracts, some times doesn't (Have a replacement assembly included with sale) The speedometer is 3-4 mph off, think it might have to do with the tire size The gas gauge does not work Thanks for looking.
