I have a very nice 1976 Honda Gold Wing GL 1000 Limited Edition. I purchased this bike last year from a gentleman who had gotten is from his uncle. The bike came from Arizona and had been here in Colorado stored in a garage for the last 12-15 years, not running. Starting with the fuel system, the tank was removed and boiled out. There was no rust to be found so the tank did not need lining. Fuel lines were replaced, new filter, the carburetors were removed and rebuilt then syncronized and adjusted. All brakes were taken apart, calipers rebuilt, pads inspected and cleaned. New fork seals and fluids installed. Fresh fluids throughout the bike. New timing belts were installed, valves adjusted and new valve cover gaskets. All original parts were cleaned and repaired or replaced if needed. The bike was missing several correct parts and I rounded up correct original replacement parts wherever I could. The bike is now about 99% correct. The only non original items that I am aware of are Dynatek electronic ignition, K&N air filter (not necessarily bad things) and fuel line hoses. The bike was completely repainted the original brownish-burgundy metallic paint and new decal kit within the last 2 months. This bike runs and drives very well as a Gold Wing should. Everything is 100% functional with the exception of the turn signal beeper when making a right turn (left works fine). Has an original tool kit (not easy to come by), the original chrome auxilliary kick starter, chrome components specific to the Limited. I do not have the original owner's manual but do have a factory service manual that will be included. Matching numbers bike. Clear Colorado title in my Name. I also have a bunch or parts I will throw in if anyone opts to "Buy it Now" including 2 nice sets of front forks, original handlebars, brake parts, carburetors for parts, valve covers, timing covers and more.
