Brand new, never raced. #25 of 50 Cobra Jets built to race stock eliminator and celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ford's win at the 1968 NHRA Winternationals. The car has the full graphics package as the only option available. There was only one color offered, White. The FR500 features the 5.4 liter supercharged intercooled engine with a 6 speed manual transmission, Bogart light weight wheels and Goodyear front runners and slicks. The chassis has a full roll cage, drive shaft loop, Ford Racing tachometer and gauges, special shifter, custom seats and racing seat belts. The car includes the Ford Racing computer tool, special engine lift hooks, collectible Ford Racing Cobra Jet owners jacket and cap, car cover and all ordering and delivery documents. The inside of the trunk lid is autographed by the Ford Racing and Roush employee's who were instrumental in engineering and building the CJ's. The car is not legal for the street, built as a race car only. There is no title. The CJ's were sold on a Ford dealers parts invoice. The chassis # is FR500CJ # 25. The VIN in this ad was used for EBAY'S listing requirements only. This CJ has been stored in a heated and air conditioned private Ford dealers car collection. The car is in as built condition and still retains the plastic on the carpet and bumper protection. The odometer shows 1/10 of one mile.
