Selling my 1956 Chevy 3200 LWB truck. Has VERY clean and straight body with 95% of cosmetic body work finished. 235 6cyl engine mated to a Muncie 4 speed. Muncie casting numbers are 3851325 main case and 3846429 extension housing. I was also told this came from a Corvette. Truck is actually from Modesto California area most its life until a couple years ago when it came to my place. Was told in its prior life it was used in the vineyards of one of the Gallo wineries, but can not confirm. Doors, hood, tailgate are all aligned open and close nicely with decent gaps. Door weather stripping is pretty well shot so there's a tiny bit of slop if you push/pull the handle when closed. Has been stored inside the whole time. Solid frame and the body panels are straighter than most. By that I mean they are not covered in body filler or been replaced or repaired from previous major damage etc.Rear cab lower corners have a couple small areas with tiny bubbles you can see in the pics. Same goes for both door bottoms having rust bubbles that will need attention in the future. That is the extent of rust issues besides common surface rust on frame and underneath. Inner steps and corresponding areas are SOLID as is the whole cab floor.Drivers vent "wing" window is cracked and the passenger vent window is bubbling around edges. No major scratches in windshield rear or door windows. and I have all emblems original taillight brackets, wipers, blades and a few other goodies. Emblems have been painted Hot Rod Grey and it is flaking in spots but they will clean and polish up. NOT pitted and scratched. The radio area has been hacked out and I have the new replacement panel I'll throw in. Truck is sitting on I'm assuming the original Rally Wheels also painted Hot Rod Grey. I do not have center caps or outer rings. Truck needs license plates or trip permit to be legal but does run, drive and stop. Has a 2bbl Rochester carb. Motor runs well no knocks drips, leaks, or smoke. Lights all work. I think the heater switch needs replaced as it's not original to the truck anyways. Bed has plywood bolted for bottom. Chrome grill looks good but has rust in both lower outer corners. NO dents or dings in bed sides, tailgate or anywhere else that I can think of. Heavy duty rear bumper and rear air shocks (have not aired up since owning)This is an extremely nice clean straight example and platform for your ideas. For my asking price, I am able to transport to the Loves Truck Center on I-5 in Roseburg Oregon to help you save on shipping charges because my location is very rural on the Southern Oregon Coast. ANY lower accepted offer and you can come get it, unless we arrange something. Clean Oregon Title in hand. Will consider PARTIAL trade for newer 250cc and larger Dirt Bike preferrably Honda and cash.
