Hi, you are viewing a Beautiful and Very Original 1985 Mercedes SL380. This car has only 75,000 Original Miles on it ! This Mercedes is totally Rust-Free and has a Very Straight Body. This SL380 is Much Nicer and Straighter than most of the other ones that I have seen thru the years. Most of them are wavy down the sides and full of dings and dents, not this one ! A couple of the panels on the car were painted years ago from some slight sun fading (again,no rust ever) and there is some very slight color differences but All of the paint is Very Nice Quality and all of the entire car has a very nice shine to it. Very few people ever notice the color differences,they just say Wow and tell me how Beautiful the car is everywhere I go The Underbody and Floorpans are also in Incredible Condition too. I have never seen a 30 year old Northern car with floors underneath like this car has. This car runs and drives just Beautifully and is an Absolute Joy to drive and cruise. You wont want to put it back in the garage when you take it out for a ride. I have had many of the older British Sports Cars too and none of those cars drive and feel as nice as this car does, just Pure Quality ! The A.C. is nice and Cold and all of the Gauges and Factory Stereo work great too, even the clock works. The interior is also in Fantastic Condition. There are no cracks, rips, etc. .Again, much nicer than most of these. The Convertible Top is also Brand-New (was $800.00). The original Hardtop and Stand is also included. The Tires and Exhaust are in excellent condition and the Brakes , Steering (nice and tight), Transmission and Suspension all perform Very Nicely. It also has a Brand-New 5 year battery. Many of the Collector Car magazines are saying that this Generation of Mercedes SL's are the next ones to spike up a lot in price like the Generation of SL's just before these have. They even look kind of similar to each other. In fact, it seems to be already happening. Everybody remembers these Mercedes from just about every 70's and 80's TV shows where the famous or successful characters drove one of this generations SL ( Rick on Magnum P.I., Hart to Hart, Rockford Files, Etc...).
