Vehicle Detail
Great rust free and damage free Trans Am (born in Anaheim CA., lived in Texas). Almost finished "rest-mod." Completely rebuilt suspension including body bushings (pictures show it before alignment). Tubular upper and lower A-arms. Cold, late model AC. Entire heating/ventilation system functions well (some of the interior routing covers need adjustment, only blowing out of top vents). Unlike a lot of conversions where a blank firewall is welded in place to cover the missing heat/vent/AC system. The interior smells new! Subframe connectors installed. Have thousands in parts/upgrades that can be installed like a stereo with navigation and a seven inch screen. All gauges work except the speedo and tach. Have a stock 140 mph speedo and tach with functioning clock ready for installation. 17x8 Honeycomb wheels. Paint is a good 30 footer, and thats the largest job that needs to be completed. Have all paperwork documenting the process, along with the Trans Ams original dealer build sheet and many technical manuals. This TA is well worth the money. I hate having to get rid of it. Extremely reasonable reserve. I am not a seller, just can't finish my project. I have a complete Hotchkiss sport suspension designed for 1979 - 1981 TA's that I will sell at a largely discounted price to the person who buys my vehicle. The deposit is non-refundable and due at close of auction so please make sure you have the finances to complete the purchase. SELLING "AS-IS," VEHICLE ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY, BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORT/PICK-UP MILEAGE IS APPROXIMATE (SHOWN ON ODOMETER) AND MAY CHANGE DUE TO OPERATION $1000.00 DEPOSIT (NON-REFUNDABLE) DUE AT CLOSE OF AUCTION On May-20-16 at 10:08:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Inherited a 1965 Mustang so that has taken priority on the projects list and has also eliminated the space needed to perform work on vehicles. I bought a lot of items to add/replace/upgrade the TA, with the plan being to keep it. It's my 6th TA and 79 is my favorite year. All it needs is someone that can do the sorting out it needs. None of the work on it would keep it from easily being returned to stock should the prospective buyer be looking for that option. It has a stock LS1 engine w/cold air intake and Flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is a stock 4L60e which is a 4 speed overdrive unit so it can cruise with late model vehicles. I paid quite a bit more for just the TA than the reserve is set at. It has about 340 horsepower. On May-21-16 at 19:20:27 PDT, seller added the following information: NOT MUCH FURTHER HERE. Decided to throw in the Hotchkiss suspension with the vehicle sales price. On May-22-16 at 17:32:21 PDT, seller added the following information: The Hotchkiss sport suspension, is their complete, most expensive kit (already had tubular A-arms so didn't purchase). On May-24-16 at 21:41:13 PDT, seller added the following information: EXTRA PARTS - Custom differential cover, spare tail lenses (the ones on it need to be polished but I'm not sure how good they will turn out thats why I got spares), separate trans cooler, HP braided wire hose w/a bunch of black billet hose ends, new shift plate with metal - engine turned - insert, B-Cool billet radiator with dual electric fans, billet Moroso overflow tank (stock does not get hot, the billet stuff just looks and functions a lot better), refurbished 160mph speedo, new AC dash vents and some other small stuff, new Soundstream stereo with 7 inch screen and navigation (has a good sounding Pioneer set up in it now). Replaced an AC hose last Sunday. I paid more for the TA (before the work I have done to it) than the reserve is set for so please do not ask. On May-24-16 at 21:52:58 PDT, seller added the following information: THIS TA HAS NOT BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT - THE TITLE SHOWS A CLEAN AND CLEAR ARIZONA VEHICLE AND SO DOES AN INSPECTION. THE UNDERCARRIAGE LOOKS FANTASTIC. IT WOULD BE HARD TO FIND ONE THAT LOOKS AS NICE UNDERNEATH. On May-25-16 at 21:29:19 PDT, seller added the following information: SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION ON MY PART. I DO NOT SELL ITEMS OFTEN.
