I found this 1941 chevy 1/2 ton pick up truck in a barn of a farmer who's plan was to take this body off of the frame which had considerable rust and put it on a s10 chassi and make it a hot rod. He became too old to do any of his own work any longer and decided to sell it to me. I will never forget walking in the barn and seeing it covered in dust and pigeon crap and thinking what a cool patina this would make on a hot rod.

I got it home and noticed that the frame was very rotted, so I had my guys reinforce it so it can be rolled on a trailer etc. The frame in my opinion is not usable. like I said, The body has great patina and would be a great start for any rat rod or hot rod. Notice the cool vintage writing on the doors!

It is a complete 1/2 ton truck with the engine and trans. The engine was not free. The original seat is there as pictured. The guages and dash are all there and the window glass is there for the windshield and side windows as pictured. The rear glass is missing. The bed has a sheet of plywood in it. The body on this truck looks very vintage and had some rust areas and dents etc, look at the pics and video to get a idea of the overall condition of it as i focused on any larger stuff I saw. Definitely in my opinion a great start for a hot rod etc or bring it back to its old glory. The wheels do roll and the tires are old. The front wheels do turn with the steering wheel. This truck comes with a bill of sale only and has the data tag, numbers etc. strong>

I do not want to overcall this or undercall it as it is a barnfind 60 year old truck. Make sure to check out the pics, check out the video. I recommend having ebay do a independant inspection for you before placing a bid or coming yourself to come and check it out in person by appointment. I require a 500 dollar non refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.

Deposit: a 500 dollar non refundable deposit must be paid by paypal or wire transfer within 24 hours of auction end. Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by bank wire transfer, mailing check, or cash in person. Customer has 30 days from end of sale to pick up or make arrangments with me to have the vehicle stored. All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. We reserve the right to remove any listing due to on site sales. We also require that bidders internationally or with feedback score of zero contact us. If you are the winning bid, plese be aware that the winning bid on this item is a legally binding contract

Fee and Tax Information:

Customer pays sales tax and registration in the state they are from, we do not collect it. The deposit is non refundable, by backing out of the deal, you willingly forfeit the deposit. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. please remember you are bidding on a used vehicle and must understand that there will be normal wear and tear on the vehicle. We do our best to show you every fault we can find but somethings things may go unseen to us. A 20 dollar per a day storage fee will be added to the final price if the vehicle is not picked up within 30 days of the auction end as that is what it cost me to store the vehicles. please contact me if you need more than 30 days prior to bidding.
