THE ENGINE IS A 69' 396/375HP THE SAME HEADS UP TO 427. IT IS VERIFIED BY THE CF STAMPING ON FRONT OF ENGINE, OCT 68 DATE CODE, AND THE CASTING # 3955272 ON BACK OF BLOCK PLUS IT HAS HI PERF CAST ON LEFT SIDE. I DONT REALLY KNOW CONDITION OF ENGINE OTHER THAN ITS NOT STUCK. SO IT SHOULD BE TAKEN APART AND DETERMINED. IT IS COMPLETE LONG BLOCK WITH 4BBL ORIGINAL CAST INTAKE DATED K78. HEADS ARE CAST# 3931063 DATED K88. THEY ARE 101 CC CLOSED CHAMBERED. THE 4 SPEED IS A MUNCI, I BELIEVE M20. HARD TO KNOW FOR SURE UNTIL APART. IT COMES WITH A GOOD MAIN CASE THAT YOU WILL NEED BECAUSE 2 EARS ARE BROKE OFF AND IT IS MISSING THE FRONT BEARING COVER. THE REAREND IS A 71' AND APPEARS TO HAVE A 331 GEAR. THE BODY- JUST BOUGHT THE CAR FROM A GUY THAT STARTED TO RESTORE IT BY INSTALLING NEW QUARTERS, NEW FENDERS, NEW INNER FENDERS, NEW RADIATOR SUPPORT, NEW FRONT FLOOR PANS THEN COVERING THE INSIDE WITH STICK ON SOUND DEADNER, NEW BODY BUSHINGS INSTALLED AND FRONT SHOCKS. NEW POWER DISC BRAKES WITH DRILLED ROTORS THAT STILL NEED LINES RAN, NOT INCLUDED. DOORS ARE NICE AND RUST HOLE FREE ALONG WITH THE HOOD, HEADER PANEL, TRUNKLID, AND ALL HAVE BEEN FINISHED TO WERE THEY NEED BLOCK SANDED FOR FINISHING. TRUNK FLOOR HAS A SMALL RUSTHOLE AREA TO LEFT AND WHERE IT MEETS THE LEFT INNER FENDER ALONG SEEM. ONLY OTHER RUSTHOLES TO FINISH ARE IN BOTH REAR INNER FENDERS. THERE ARE SOME PARTS THAT GO WITH CAR THAT ARE PICTURED. SOME THINGS MISSING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IS HEADLIGHT WIRING HARNESS, GRILLE, BUMPERS AND REAR BUMPER MOUNTS, SIDE LIGHTS, SIDE TRIM IF YOU LIKE IT, GAS TANK, WEATHER STRIP, RADIATOR, EXHAUST, POWER STEERING PUMP AND PULLYS, ALTERNATOR AND MOUNTS, CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL. FOR INTERIOR IT WILL NEED DASH PAD, HEADLINER, SEAT COVERS, CARPET, DOOR PANELS AND HARDWARE. THE WINDSHIELD WAS OUT AND THEY PAINTED THE DASH AND FIRE WALL BLACK BEFORE REINSTALLING. HERE I HAVE A TRUE 68 CHEVELLE SS THAT CAME IN GRECIAN GREEN, A TEAL COLOR, WITH BLACK INTERIOR. IT CAME WITH A 396, 4 SPPED MUNCI, AND POWER STEERING. ALSO A 12 BOLT REAREND THAT SOMEONE REPLACED WITH A 10 BOLT NON POSI. IT IS A SOLID BODY WITH ONLY A COUPLE RUST SPOTS TO FIX.
THE ENGINE IS A 69' 396/375HP THE SAME HEADS UP TO 427. IT IS VERIFIED BY THE CF STAMPING ON FRONT OF ENGINE, OCT 68 DATE CODE, AND THE CASTING # 3955272 ON BACK OF BLOCK PLUS IT HAS HI PERF CAST ON LEFT SIDE. I DONT REALLY KNOW CONDITION OF ENGINE OTHER THAN ITS NOT STUCK. SO IT SHOULD BE TAKEN APART AND DETERMINED. IT IS COMPLETE LONG BLOCK WITH 4BBL ORIGINAL CAST INTAKE DATED K78.
HEADS ARE CAST# 3931063 DATED K88. THEY ARE 101 CC CLOSED CHAMBERED.
THE 4 SPEED IS A MUNCI, I BELIEVE M20. HARD TO KNOW FOR SURE UNTIL APART. IT COMES WITH A GOOD MAIN CASE THAT YOU WILL NEED BECAUSE 2 EARS ARE BROKE OFF AND IT IS MISSING THE FRONT BEARING COVER.
THE REAREND IS A 71' AND APPEARS TO HAVE A 331 GEAR.
THE BODY- JUST BOUGHT THE CAR FROM A GUY THAT STARTED TO RESTORE IT BY INSTALLING NEW QUARTERS, NEW FENDERS, NEW INNER FENDERS, NEW RADIATOR SUPPORT, NEW FRONT FLOOR PANS THEN COVERING THE INSIDE WITH STICK ON SOUND DEADNER, NEW BODY BUSHINGS INSTALLED AND FRONT SHOCKS. NEW POWER DISC BRAKES WITH DRILLED ROTORS THAT STILL NEED LINES RAN, NOT INCLUDED. DOORS ARE NICE AND RUST HOLE FREE ALONG WITH THE HOOD, HEADER PANEL, TRUNKLID, AND ALL HAVE BEEN FINISHED TO WERE THEY NEED BLOCK SANDED FOR FINISHING.
TRUNK FLOOR HAS A SMALL RUSTHOLE AREA TO LEFT AND WHERE IT MEETS THE LEFT INNER FENDER ALONG SEEM. ONLY OTHER RUSTHOLES TO FINISH ARE IN BOTH REAR INNER FENDERS.
THERE ARE SOME PARTS THAT GO WITH CAR THAT ARE PICTURED.
