I only have room to post 24 photos, please contact me if you require more detail photos. It is a 1968 Triple matching # 662838 –It start and run perfectly. It has a clean Nevada title. We got this bike with another R50 from local sale with 10,070 mile on the clock. Corresponded low mileage sign such as original factory steel straps, minimum wears on brake paddle and original paints & pinstripes,. We run a re- commission maintenance( oil change, transmission fluid pump and change, carb rebuild, new air filter) performed following : Tested the compression at 115 PSI each side, adjusted timing and volt tested the charging and spark. Replaced the Earls fork silent blocks. Re wired original Hella Spotlight mirror. New Stainless spokes on re commission high rim Weimen aluminum performance rims Rebuild the 26MM BING cab Replaced new rubber Bike start with first kick, run perfectly, shift perfectly and stop perfectly, no smoke and run quietly and idle well , original paints and pinstripe with BMW striper’s initial under the tank. come with original tool kits, tank tool box key and pocket ignition key, small manual, and Clymer reference book for service & maintenance. 1968 R69 is last year BMW make Earles fork while marketed the US fork version and gear up the /5 production, 1968 R69S with all the R69S improvement and is a bulletproof bike with proper maintenance. Bike is in original cosmetic with beautiful patina and some touch up. There are few scratches on top of rear fender made by mounted bench seat.
