Vehicle Detail
I built this car for my wife but, she had an accident and is no longer able to drive it. It has a 2.3 liter Ford engine and a 5-speed trans, too many new parts and modifications to list. I am listing it with no reserve the last bidder will own it. Please contact me if any additional information is needed. https://youtu.be/FRkUhPxDh9I On Apr-14-16 at 16:44:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a lot of questions about condition so I am updating conditions information. I have owned this car for 13 years and I was told it set for 10 years before I bought it. I completed it 3 years ago and I only drive it in the summer and only on sunny clear days. The farthest I have ever driven it in one day is probably under 100 miles. The true mileage is unknown, the mileage from the vehicle that the engine and transmission came out of was 70,498 and the mileage on the Triumph was 53,302. The car runs and drives good and everything works but, it is a very small car and can't be expected to be as quiet and comfortable as a big car. One of the questions I got was could this car be driven approximately 950 miles. I don't know the answer to that question but I wouldn't want to drive that far. The engine is a 2.3 liter EFI (a stock Ford Ranger engine) 100 hp 133 ft-lbs torque, the only thing I done to it is replaced the fuel injectors with a set of flow matched injectors, and a rear main seal it runs good and does not smoke or rattle. The Transmission is a MDO5 5-speed out of the Ford Ranger as well, I replaced all bearings, seals, input shaft and shifter boot and kit. New: Clutch, pressure plate, throughout bearing and pilot bearing, brakes, shocks, all new suspension bushings and ball joints, New tires and mini light wheels, New top, new seat and trunk upholstery. This is a fun car to drive on a sunny day to car shows or cruise in. It is unique and draws a lot of attention. With the top down it is pretty quiet, comfortable and dependable. With the top up it is noisy and uncomfortable. If you have bid on this car and this additional information makes any difference you are welcome to retract your bid. Please ask me any question you like before bidding. I am selling the car in "AS IS" condition. A pre-purchase inspection is welcome and encouraged.
