When I was a kid I remember not having much . The fall of '75 my well of uncle showed up for a quick visit and asked if my brother and I could give him a hand lifting something out of his van . " it's the '70's everybody has a van " Well if it was't the biggest surprise of my life , Man We were besides our selves . My brother and I never fought about that bike , we just so appreciated it . Memories of young days gone buy are priceless My goal on this bike was to build a bike as close to new as possible . Restoring parts is fairly easy , finding old new parts are a hole different animal . I had the muffler guard chrome plated . The muffler came from a small Honda dealer in the outback , Australia . The shocks also came form Australia . They cost me a small fortune and a left foot . The paint job was done correctly and the tank was also coated with the good white stuff . I had the chassis powder coated , as well as the rims . New BF Goodrich tubes and tires , new seat , new fenders , new front and rear lights . I decided to replace all the bolts with stainless steel ones . I used the foot pegs from the '72 model year . My intent upon completion was to put this bike in my rec room so there is no oil in the motor or fuel in the tank . My wife had other plans of course . Thank you
