Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice original Honda I found a few years back. The title says it is a 1971 and the bike tag says it was made 9/70, I know they titled these bikes sometimes the year that they sold them but that is the information I have. I found this bike stored inside and the man that had owned it had past away. The tank was dry and clean and the battery was out. I brought it home, put a battery in it and a little gas and it fired right off, seemed to run really nice I thought, I took it down the street and back and the clutch was sleeping a bit. I was pretty happy with the bike and new I wouldn't have time to mess with it for a while so I drained the tank and coated the inside with a little clean oil and WD40 just to protect it, took the battery out and drained the carbs. I put it in my climate controlled building and have not touched it since. Don't think I will have time for it and spend most my time with the KZ1000s so I decided to sell it. So you are buying it as a not running bike at this time with a clear Wyoming title in my name. Ok, the things I can see that are wrong, it has the right side headlight ear has been bent and there is a small dent on the right side muffler right behind the front foot rest. The inside of the tank is nice but you will need to rinse it out. I can just feel a touch of rust on the seem on the bottom sides of the mufflers. It will need a new battery, I'm not sure if you run it for a while if the clutch will free back up or if it will need to be removed for that? It started right up for me but if I was going to run it and use it a bit I would pull the carbs and clean them just to be sure. The motor has not dripped on my floor at all but you can see on the right side were it has seeped a little at the head gasket. I can't find any dents on the tank or side covers, there are two very tiny spots on the tank that someone has put two drops of touch up paint on there, you can see in the pictures, very tiny spots. This bike shows very little signs if any of patina, very clean for its age, I'm just guessing but it looks like the original cables and tires but I'm not sure, I'll let you be the judge of that. This is a very clean example of a CB350 and its for sale so if you have any questions and are serious, give me a call 307-532-0324, I will be happy to answer questions the best I can for you. I will keep this in a climate controlled building for you for a little while, and be happy to work with your shipper. I will ask for a non refundable $500.00 deposit through paypal within 24 hours after the sale ends and the balance within 14 days after the sale ends. Give me a call if you're serious and we can discuss the details. This is for sale, but no over sea sales. This is a clean bike so look the pictures over good. Thanks for looking and good luck! You can see it in the pictures very clearly but I forgot to mention it in the description. Thanks! Randy
