Vehicle Detail
This low mileage Land Rover up for auction is in good condition but will need a little work. The reserve price is $500.00 less than the KBB private party value in fair condition, which is a fair price. We are the second owners of this vehicle I think and have had it for the past 6 years. Smoke and pet free. No warning or check engine lights. Engine and transmission are in good condition with no leaking, knocking, noises, etc. Interior and exterior are in good shape. The horn buttons don't work anymore. The passenger side front window is off it's track but the power window still works. No holes or tears on the leather seats. The back seats have a little denting from car seats. The rear jump seats are in very good condition. Multi-disk cd player still works. Steering wheel controls still work. Dual moonroofs still work. Power seats are in good working condition. All of the wipers work fine. There is a rust spot on the roof of the truck, I tried to get it in the pics. The rest of the paint is fine, no dents or scratches. Radiator and alternator were replaced a few years ago. Okay what needs attention. There is antifreeze leaking, probably from a few places. It is recommended that all of the radiator hoses be replaced as these are causing the leaks and they are due to be changed. Some of these hoses are hard to get at and I don't want the hassle of working on this vehicle anymore. That's why we are selling and also because we don't need a 7 passenger anymore, want to downsize to something smaller. I have made a slight mod to the throttle body plate because it kept leaking antifreeze. I bypassed the plate but it can easily be changed back if desired. The part is cheap and not that hard to replace. The tires are in fair condition, maybe 50% tread left, not sure. I do have a brand new Goodyear Wrangler spare. Last thing, when the truck is cold, like if it sits overnight, upon first driving there is some slight hesitation, but once the truck is warmed up it goes away. I have done some research on this and it could be a MAF sensor. Not exactly sure, but we have just dealt with this issue since it just happens when cold. A tune-up is also in need. I can send more pics if need be. If you are serious and would like to look the car over and hear it running we can arrange something. I hope I covered everything but if you have any questions I will try to answer swiftly as best as I can. Thanks for looking.
