RELIST DUE TO EBAY MISCATEGORIZATION. 80s Fox Body. I bought this car from the original owner in Titusville, Fla. I originally purchased it with the intents of putting a bit of work into it and turning it into a show car. I drove it home and parked it. After much consideration, I decided I do not want to put anymore into the car. He did quite a bit of replacing and remanufacturing multiple items inside and out of the car back in 2014. I believe it sat mostly after that. I have most all the receipts for what he did or had done. Here is what I know and see: 2.4 EFI Rotary Type 4 Cylinder. 5 Speed Transmission. Light Blue Exterior/Dark Blue Interior. Around 25 MPG THE BAD: Dent In Right Rear Fender. Missing Piece Of Trim Comes With The Car. Engine Does Run A Little On The Warm Side In Stop And Go Traffic. A Spurt Of Oil Does Blow Out Around Oil Filler Cap When The Oil Temperature Goes Up. Someone Told Me It Needs A New Seal Around The Cap. I Know Nothing About Working On Cars. Also, Engine Will Stall Out If You Come To An Abrupt Stop. I Am Told It Is Most Likely An 02 Sensor Or Loose Vacuum Hose. The Seatbelt Clasp On The Driver Side is Broken. NO Heat/AC. It Will Power On But Will Not Put Out Air. I Checked On EBay. A Manual Dash Unit From Older Versions Back To The 83 Turbo Coupe With Manual In Dash Control Units Can Be Installed In The Place Of Computerized Unit In This One. These Cars Had Computer Controlled Everything. ABS Light Is On. Former Owner Told Me It Needs A Tevis Control Module. 4 Wheel Disc Brakes Still Stop This Big Old 80's Car On A Dime. The Passenger Window Does Not Roll Up Or Down. There Is A Bit Of Front End Vibration At Around 85 MPH. The Fog Lights Will Not Power On. The Ride Control Light Goes On And Off Without The Flip Of The Ride Control Switch. I Would Guess At This Point The Ride Control Does Not Work. The Only Function It Served Was To Stiffen Up The Suspension System. The Driver Door Lock Sticks Occasionally. Keyless Entry Does Not Work. The Headlights Have Came Unsealed At The Bottom Of The Assembly. They Are Not Broken And Can Be Easily Resealed. The Headlight Clarity Is Around A High #6. THE GOOD: Engine Fires Right Off. Does Not Smoke At All. Turbo Boosts & Spools Up. Paint And Interior Are A High #8 For A 30YEAR OLD CAR. Original Tremec Transmission Shifts Very Smoothly. Clutch Is Fairly Firm. Both Power Seats Are Still Fully Functional. Both Power Mirrors Work Properly. Interior Is In Good Shape With No Rips Or Tears Hardly Showing Any Signs Of Age Or Fading. The Former Owner Told Me The Car Spent Most Its Life In A Garage. The Dash, Trim & Door Panels Are In Near Perfect Condition & Do Not Rattle & Are Not Cracked. The AM/FM Cassette Radio & All Speakers Still Work. As Does The Power Antenna. Both Sets Of Keys Are Original. Shifter Knob That Reads "TURBO" Is Remarkably Still In Near Mint Condition. The "Snowflake" Style Wheels Are A Bit Faded With Only A Few Blemishes. Back In Those Days Wheels Were Sprayed With A Clear Coat Paint To Make Them Shinny. Tires Still In Good Condition. The Tint On The Windows Is In Good Shape. Automatic On/Off Headlights With Auto Dimming. Switch From Regular To Premium Fuel At The Flip Of A Switch. This Is An Overall Fairly Well Preserved Car That Was Way Ahead Of Its Time In 1987 Former Owner Gave Me A Line By Line List Of Repair Work & Replacements Done In Mid 2014 Engine Removed And Remanufactured in 2014-Receipt Accounted For. Original IHI Turbo Charger Removed And Remanufactured in 2014-Receipt Accounted For. Starter Replaced. Water Pump Replaced. Thermostat & Housing Replaced. All Belts, Gaskets, Plugs, Distributor Cap & Rotor Replaced. New Starter Relay Solenoid Installed. Turbo Oil Line Replaced. K&N High Air Filter Kit Installed. Plug Wires Replaced. A/C Evaporator, Dryer & Green Seals Installed On All A/C Lines. He Did Tell Me He Thought The A/C Needs A Compressor. Replaced Rack & Pinion Steering System. New Brake Pads & Rotors. New Power Steering Pump. New Wheel Bearings. New Clutch, Friction & Pressure Plate, Throw Out Bearing & Pilot Bearing. All Hoses Replaced. Oil Cooler Replaced. As I Said There Are A Ton Of Receipts That I Was Given. I Did Not Go Through Every Receipt. Looking Under The Hood It Is Evident All Above Things That Can Be Visually Inspected Were Replaced Or Repair I Am NOT Interested In Trading For Any Items Or Parting This Car Out.
