For sale is a 2004 Audi A8L 4.2l Quattro Oyster Grey Metallic with 126k miles I was originally going to trade this in on my 2012 A8L but instead of being raped by the dealer decided to sell it on eBay instead, and pass it along to another enthusiast for low cost. I have a total of 54 pictures including undercarriage but eBay limits me to an upload of 24, please contact me for more pictures. This car was purchased used with roughly 60k miles in 04/2011 from an Audi dealer that also performed the services for the previous owner. Since I used to work for Audi Germany I maintained this car myself including: All oil changes with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Timing belt on schedule at 74800 miles including water pump, tensioner etc. Recently replaced front upper control arms, shocks and brake pads. Wheels were upgraded to 20inch including spare Performed rear facelift to the 2008+ LED taillights Installed front LED DRL Upgraded beams to 10k HID Upgraded fog lights to HID Replaced yellowish interior bulbs with bright white LED’s to give it a more modern look at night All buttons on this vehicle work including the ones that usually don’t on a 2004: Heated seats front and back Heated steering wheel All shades Navigation and functions Trunk open/close mechanism Windows, seats etc. I am only aware of the following issues: Possible rear shock leak (part $150 on eBay, recommend replacing both) Wear on seats (see pictures) Trim wear (see pictures) Driver’s armrest won’t stay in position Sunroof is making noise when opened/closed but does not leak Cover inside shifter is separated and has gap (picture) Missing clips in front fender lining (making periodic rubbing noise on bumps) Oil change is due I just realized when taking pictures that I never picked up the drip moldings on the roof from the paint shop after I had them repainted due to paint flaking. The drip moldings will be installed freshly painted prior to shipment/pickup In the trunk you will find: New set of wipers OEM rear brake pads used armrest (bought to fix current armrest) used shifter assembly (bought to fix cover inside shifter) If I make it to storage I will also include a second set of OEM floor mats for front and back that I use in the winter. This car has no additional issues or leaks to my knowledge but keep in mind it is 2016 and the vehicle is a 2004. This vehicle certainly exceeds other vehicles of its age or newer in quality, condition and reliability. This car has been mostly sitting in my garage for the past 4 months but made a 1600 mile round trip prior to that with no issues or reliability concerns. As I am selling this car slightly above trade in/wholesale auction value and I am not a car dealer, this car comes AS IS and once you agreed to purchase it is yours. $500 payment immediately after purchase agreement, remaining payment via PayPal or cashier’s check within 4 days after purchase from the buyer only and no third parties. No vehicle pick up until full payment is cleared/verified. Buyer is responsible for shipment or local pickup within 7 days of full payment.
