1984 Renegade CJ-7 - Runs great with tons of upgrades. I call it a functional restoration with some cosmetic enhancements. Drives down the highway at 70 MPH all day, stable and as comfortable as a CJ7 can be. I have worked on this CJ7 for over two years making it safe and very functional. Please take time to review the list below and ask questions as needed. I'm only selling as we had our second child over the Winter and we won't be driving a CJ with a baby for a few years. I’ve driven it to the trails a few times last summer. Had a great day climbing rocks and trails and then drove home with no issues. It was built to be safe and drive great. The body and interior are pretty standard. There are a few rust spots that could be addressed. The hood has a few small dents from Hail damage, the back under the tailgate has some rust spots but nothing coming through. The drivers side floor and both rear floor sections have been replaced. The rear area under the back seat and fenders are in good shape. All the good stuff: All new within the past two years, no more than 500 Miles - Dana 44's, front and rear - New seals, bearings, Yukon 4.56 Gears - ARB Air Lockers, Front and Rear - Disk Breaks, Front and Rear - Braided Brake Lines, Front and Rear - Aluminum High Steer Kit (looks pretty cool too) - Rubicon Express 1.5 inch Springs - New Shackles with welded RockCrusher Bases - Bilstein 5100 shocks on all four corners - Frame is great shape - GenRight Rock Sliders w/ Side Step - Warn Front Bumper - Warn Rear Bumper with Tore Carrier - Electric Line Lock for E-Brake (This locks the rear wheels with a switch) - ARB air compressor ) FF and RR ARB’s work great - Front KC’s mounted to the front bumber - Pioneer Stereo with CD, remote, external USB connector - Toughy lockable center console w/ stereo - New POLY 18 Gallon Gas Tank - Comes with 2 half doors pictured (great condition) - tons of extra parts - new bikini top and windshield rail Still to be corrected: Fuel gage is not workingTemp gauge not working (was working before I put it away last winter)windshield has rust and could be replaced.
