This 1947 Chrysler Traveler was a daily driver for several years from the time we purchased it in 2004. It has been driven only occasionally and had been going through some restoration the last few years. The interior is original except for the seats which had been re-covered by the previous owner. The wooden roof rack has been removed to help preserve the wood. It along with other parts will be included. Seat belts were added to the back seat for our children's safety as we used this car quite often for weekend family trips. The engine is a straight 6 Spitfire that sounds and runs great. It has a Fluid Drive transmission which is solid with no leaks. A replacement Windsor body which we'd hoped to use to replace the rusting body of the Traveler is included. It has only surface rust and may have some Bondo repairs. It is on a rolling chassis and has seats. Local Pick-Up. See payment instructions for deposit and payment terms.
