This truck has a big block conversion, runs and drives great. Needs some cosmetics to be a very nice truck. 1972 is the best/last and most sought after year of these trucks. This is a factory 4x4 truck, the 4x4’s never came with a big block, this conversion was done correctly. A lot of time/money and parts have been spent, finishing it up is mild work, most of the hard work has been done. I’ve been selling off all my 67-72 Chevy 4x4’s the past couple months, this is the last one I have that is not completely restored and very expensive. The 454 is mid 70’s with large oval port heads, a nice smooth running torque monster with headers, HEI (electronic) ignition. Power steering, power disc brakes, rear axle has limited slip locker. TH-400 automatic transmission, gear driven 4L N 2H 4H transfer case. 32 in mud tires with 95% tread on stock wheels. Truck drives straight, very solid, no slack or slop. 70 mph on the highway very smooth. BODY The body is in good shape speaking 67-72 truck, straight, painted in 96 with paint code in glove box. Only rot to speak of are in both doors and shown very clearly in pictures and video. Seat and many other soft parts redone or replaced. Please watch the video, I explain condition and flaws well. I’ve driven this truck 50 miles, all the major systems work great, needs minor things and cosmetics to be great. Hard work mostly done, I planned to finish it then offer for sale, I’ve sold several driver quality finished 71/72 4x4’s in the 28-30k range, this truck can be that with some work. Buying a truck that is not finished will save you a bunch of money. I have a clear clean WA state title in hand in my name, matching VIN tag and title. I require full payment within 3 days closed auction to my US Bank business account via wire transfer or cashiers check. I will take PayPal, but you must pay the additional 3% to cover their fees.
