I found this Landcruiser in a parking lot. It caught my eye because it was extremely clean. Wrote a note to the owner and left it on the windshield. To my surprise he called back the next day. The rest is history. It’s got 173K miles on it with no mechanical issues. Runs and drives very smooth. Just took it for a 200 mile round trip just to make sure everything was working properly — and it is. It drives and feels like an 88 Cruiser. It was really clean to begin with. Only 3 or 4 minor rust spots that have been fixed. We started by changing all fluids including transfer case and deferential, fresh oil change, and radiator flush, and new belts. The A/C blows cold and heater works as it should. Brand new set of tires —BF Goodrich all-terrain mounted on shiny original wheels. The four wheel drive engages and works perfectly. The interior is clean with no rips or tears on any of the seats. Carpet has a couple of stains but nothing major. Brand new paint job that makes this Cruiser really clean and shiny. Not the top of the line job, but very nice.
