Up for auction is a recent barn find 1966 Mustang GT Coupe with Pony Interior. It was found recently in a warehouse in downtown Detroit where it had been stored since 1995. It is a factory GT as the pictures will show along with having the deluxe Pony interior, auto trans, power steering and remote deluxe mirror. Body code 65B, Color Y, Trim 62, Date 07D, DSO 33, Axle 1, Trans 6. The odometer states 71794 miles. It was running when it was drove into the warehouse and previous owner had running 7 years ago. The motor turns over with no issues but I have not tried to start. It has the factory disc brakes with the KH proportioning valve and 4 piston front calipers, dual exhaust with correct hanger reinforcements, fog light switch, dual exhaust with trumpets. It is a Michigan car with normal rust plus there is a large dent in the roof under the factory vinyl top. It will need a complete restoration. It will need floor pans, drivers side rocker panel, quarter panels, wheelhouses, trunk pans and 1 rear frame rail repair section (last 15" or so on drivers side). It has 68-69 chrome GT wheels in very nice shape. All the front grill sheet metal/trim is missing along with the drivers side front fender. What you see in the pictures is all that is included.
