Starting with a 1967 Mustang Coupe Fastback, the team at Grubbs Motorsports in Garland, Texas set out to build the ultimate 67 Mustang driver; obviously Mike got a little carried away.... The ground-up build began with an Art Morrison Max G tube chassis. Unique to this car than most street rods, Mike married the body and the chassis together in a way that one could remove the body from the chassis if they so desired. Every curve of the body on this Mustang has been hand made by metal in Mike's fabrication shop. The hood, rocker panels, deck lid, roof line, side vents, etc have all been crafted by hand. The only fiberglass piece used for the entire car was the front fascia that started as a piece from an Eleanor body kit Mike had......with a little massaging of course. The car is painted in Nighthawk Black Pearl with a custom Charcoal ghost stripe.
