Just bought this 540i on eBay and unfortunately realized it wouldn't work for my daughter's child seat, so I need to sell it. It's in great shape and sounds fantastic. I also installed a brand new Insterstate battery as soon as I got it. Here's the information I have on it: For sale is a 2000 E39 BMW 540i with a six speed manual transmission and sport package. It has facelifted headlights (angel eye) from a 2001 M5 and updated tail lights. It has an M5 front bumper and a trunk spoiler. The car was painted in November of 2014 and the body impact strips were painted to match the rest of the car. Recently, the car was backed into while parked and there is a dent under the driver's side rear tail light. Pictures are included. It has FK Streetline coilovers which ride similar to the factory sport suspension. The rear mufflers have been deleted.
