I bought it 3 years ago, in a very sorry state. A complete frame off restoration was started a few months after receiving the bike; it took a little over 10 months. It is 95% correct and beautiful with matching numbers. Restored by a local gentleman who has specialized in period British bikes for nearly 20 years, he lovingly brought it back to life. I was planning on enjoying it each summer; unfortunately, my work takes me out of the country during the entire driving season. So, it is being made available here. I have ridden it about 100 miles since it was finished, we have worked out the bugs and it is ready to go. It is located at 5,000 feet altitude so some adjustments will be needed should you live at sea level. Kept in a garage under cover, (included) the bike has been started and moved every month or so during the winter. Very fair reserve and bike is priced to sell. New chrome everywhere Powder coated and new paint with hand applied paint pin striping New Stainless Steel rims and spokes All electrical works. New cloth wrapped wire harness with water proof connectors Gas tank has been sealed with “caswell” All rubber has been replaced. Correct OEM cables Speedo rebuilt and works Starts w 1 kick Original shift pattern is still in place New period correct tires For the sake of full disclosure, I should tell you the following is incorrect or missing Needs a 6 volt horn Clip that holds brake switch to brake pedal (works but incorrect year) Kick starter is incorrect as I wanted a fold up style. (I have seen correct non folding kick starters on EBay) The rubber knee pads are original and should be replaced. We could not find the right period pads at the time Non refundable deposit of 500$ is to be paid through Paypal within 48 hours of close of auction.
