Vehicle Detail
The first Bonnie I ever bought………. Yes, I know the paint is incorrect, I planned on changing the color to a standard 68 color, but it grew on me. Something about the snow white and the gold……. This also was always meant to be a rider, not a show bike. I have owned this bike for about 5 years. It has been my bike of choice for rides, even when going out with buddies on bigger cylinder bikes. I have done a few things to it, like new cloth wire harness, 2 new tires, new pipes from the cylinder head all the way to the pea shooters, (old pipes in a box go with the bike), new updated halogen headlamp for better night vision, new brakes all around, new mirrors, new speedo, (mileage unknown), regular service and oil change. It doesn’t appear much was done to it prior to my buying it, actually, it came in very nice shape. Other than the usual small drips of oil, I have no issues with this bike. Just from the overall shape of the bike when I got it, I don’t think it was ridden a lot. The speedo was broken, though the cable was intact. If you are looking for a bike to ride with no hassles, this one is it. Starts like a charm, runs awesome, lots of fun to drive, very quick and nimble, big enough to hang with the big boys, but also great for a quick trip to the shops. Numbers match of course, it is located at 5,000 feet altitude, so you may need some tinkering with the carb for it to run well at sea level. Please ask questions prior to bidding. See my feedback here on EBay. Non refundable 500$ due by paypal within 24 hours of close of auction. Balance by wire transfer or cashier’s check prior to bike leaving my property. Clear title in hand. the reserve is very reasonable, please don't ask, it is after all an auction, so bid often and bid to own. Sorry, cannot assist with crating. No warranties whatsoever on a 48 year old bike, it is sold as is, where is. Happy bidding, and if you end up being the lucky owner of this fine classic, I hope you enjoy her as much as I have. Thank you for looking.
