The Carrera S (1997) shares a Turbo model's bodyshell, but houses the naturally aspirated Carrera engine in the rear. Comes with slightly lowered suspension compared to standard 993 Carrera models. The C2S is a lighter vehicle in comparison to the C4S, resulting in a curb weight of 3,064 pounds for the C2S vs. 3,197 pounds for the C4S.This results in both a quicker 0-60 time as well as a higher top speed for the C2S as compared with the C4S. The wide body is widely acclaimed for its rear look. It creates more aerodynamic drag, leading to slightly lower top speeds compared to the narrower siblings (about 5 km/hr), but the wider tires result in excellent road grip and roadholding for the widebody 993 models. The widebodies, and in particular the C2S, are currently the most valuable and achieve the highest prices abroad.
