Vehicle Detail
1971 Honda CB750 K1. 22,884 miles. It is all original except for the top two pipes which are off a 1972. The bottom ones are the 300 series. One has been professionally repaired underneath for a rust hole, functions great and cannot be seen unless you look underneath. I'm meticulous, to most it would not be an issue. 1972 baffles. Oil and filter change. New petcock. The seat is a new reproduction. Tank is exceptionally clean inside not rust. Vin# CB750-1054282 Engine# CB750E-1054716 I started a minor restoration on the forks, new tubes and fork seals, new fork boots, The lower forks were refinished with a satin/clear look of the era. The front brake caliper rebuilt and painted with a gloss black caliper paint. Exhaust collars are new with new gaskets. Turn signals are new as well. Mostly a timely clean up and painted a few parts. There is no tool kit. The Honda runs excellent, original paint. It is a wonderful machine to ride or collect. I have taken it on a 250 mile day without issues, it still has a points system. Wonderful sounding pipes of the 1970's Honda's. I was thinking of doing a full restoration but as it is the character and soul would be lost, it has a charm that a restored one seems to have lost. What I like about the CB750 it is a rider and a true workhorse with a great lineage. No worries if someone comes over and touches the paint, etc. It still draws a true enthusiasts. It is up to the buyer to provide shipping, I will assist the best I can. There is no warranty on the CB750. It is being sold as it. I have described the CB750 to the best of my knowledge. There is a $500 nonrefundable deposit once reserve has been made. The 1969's are getting out of reach, in my opinion this one is as worthy in any collection.
