Up for sale is my 1971 Toyota FJ 40 that I've owned since 11/1/12. I bought it from a guy in Florida here on eBay. I had Land Cruiser Specialist install a power steering system about a year ago. I've got several other cars and just don't use it enough, which is the only reason for selling it. The neighbors aren't too happy about 6 cars in the driveway : ( I've probably only put around 1,000 miles on it in the last 3 years. I live in a part of Austin with lots of 20% hills and using a manual was usually more stressful than I wanted, so I'd drive something else. Most of it's use has been carting kayaks and paddle boards to the river, which is a half mile away. As far as issues, the odometer, windshield wipers and headlights are not currently working (and didn't when I bought it). I wish I knew all of the details about it, but unfortunately I'm a bit of a novice on FJ details. Below is the text from the ad that I bought it from. It cranks right up and runs and sounds great. The guys at Land Cruiser Specialist say it's in great shape and should fetch something in the high $30's since it's all original. I'm just looking to break even at this time.
