This Beautiful Car has a great combination of Rare Muscle Car Looks with a very nice V8 Powerplant with lots of power, and the Fantastic Sounding Flowmaster Exhaust for that Unmistakable Sound that matches the looks of this car. It doesn't just look fast, it is fast. The engine is a freshly rebuilt Ford 302 with 351 Winsor 4-Barrel Heads, an original FoMoCo 4-Barrel Intake Manifold and a newer Edelbrock Carb. This car drives and sounds incredible. It is a Pure Pleasure to drive, you wont want to put it back in the garage whenever you take it out ! The looks and attention this car gets never stops either, no matter where you go ! This Very Rare 1st year Maverick began as a totally Rust-Free 6-cylinder car and was fully restored into the Beautiful Car you see today. The Body and Paint on this Maverick is as nice as you will ever see, and is even better in person than in the pictures. It is Super-Straight with a High Gloss Super Nice paint job and Everybody just loves the color !. There is No Rust and No Bubbles (really !!). I know a lot of sellers tend to bend the truth on that statement, that is not the case here ! The original Body Panels, Floorpans and Trunkpans are all Fantastic. The floorpans were undercoated many years ago (probably when new) and so the original floors are fantastic too. And the doors open and close like they did when new, perfect ! You would have to look at a LOT of these old cars to ever find one like this. It would cost more than twice as much as I am selling this Maverick for to find a Rust Free 1970 Maverick and then turn it into this what this car is today. The mechanical aspects of this car are equally impressive. The Engine and Trans are rebuilt and perform beautifully. The Steering (also,its a RARE Power Steering Maverick) and Front-end (Tight with Fresh Alignment), Brakes, Suspension (its really smooth over bumps), and Exhaust all work beautifully. And this has 4 new tires. This is a No-Disappointment Turn Key, Have Fun Right Now Car ! (And win Trophies !!) The Interior is mostly original and really has to be Seen to Believe and to really appreciate. It also is in Amazing Condition. It has a CD Stereo added (with Great Sounding Speakers) to add to the cruising pleasure of this car. The only flaw in the whole interior is an area at the top of one side of the rear seat that has been repatched with the correct type of material and nobody ever notices it. What I really like the most about this Maverick is that it has a Great Looking Body Style that looks as great as most Very Expensive Muscle Cars (even better than a lot of them, in my opinion) and yet is more rare than most of them. I honestly have gotten more attention with this car than with most of the Expensive Muscle Cars that I have had. When I take it out people tell me endlessly how much they love it ! Everybody always mentions also how they just cant believe the condition that it is in. Most people say that they think these Mavericks look so cool that it is a shame you don't see more of them.
