It brought about a number of technological improvements that made it one of the best performing Ferraris. Its engine was state of the art and featured a new management system and a larger, more sophisticated exhaust system, which meant drastically improved performance and produced what is considered by many to be the best Ferrari V-8 note. 100454 was completed in September of 1994 and sold new in December through Roger Mauro Imports of Lakewood, Colorado wearing striking Red over Black leather upholstery, well equipped and sporting the preferred 6-speed traditional gated manual transmission. It soon made its way to southern California where it resided until the early 2000's, when it was acquired by the curators of large and well-respected collection in St. Louis, MO. This Berlinetta has been driven just under 32,000 miles from new and shows well for its age with careful use. The Ferrari is accompanied by all original factory books/manuals/brochures in leather sheath, complete and unused leather bound tool case, optioned Ferrari car cover and licensed floor mats. Paint depth readings confirm large amount of factory paintwork remain, complementing its original upholstery. The car is an absolute blast to drive, and CarFax reports a clean history. In 2011, the car received a complete "Major Service" top to bottom by G-T-O Services, and recently undergone a thorough detailing of the paint and interior, including a steam cleaning of the engine and underside - all resulting in a high quality presentation.
