Up for auction is a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Convertible. The car is located here at Bill Buck Chevrolet in Venice Florida. This car was a gift to Bill Buck from his son for his 50th year being a Chevrolet dealer. The car was purchased in 1997 by the Bucks and was fully restored in the early to mid 90s. Form 97 to about 2000 it sat in our showroom but has since been in our storage facilities. The car still starts, runs and drives. It has a 3 speed manual on the column that still shifts good. The convertible top is in good shape and still works. The car is also still on a 6 volt system. Everything appears to be in good working order but due to being stored it has some small cosmetic flaws. The chrome looks good, the paint has some spots where it is bubbling and some spots where it has cracked (looks like it could peel off) and the horns are currently disconnected due to a problem that appears to be in the steering wheel. There is also what looks to be an AC box under the dash on the passenger side that does not work. Also the car does not appear to have much rust.
