1999 Audi A6 Avant Quattro 2.6L, automatic transmission -- runs and drives, but would need some TLC if you want to keep it on the road, or great for parts. 137,500 miles. All options except third row seats. Not currently registered--most recent registration was out of state. It hasn't been run since late summer, and the battery is dead. This was our dog's car — check her out at electrosie.org! Here's a list of what's good about the car, and what needs work. Good: • Leather interior in very good condition -- no rips or tears, just usual wear Johnson Films (high quality film) smoke grey window tinting film in very good to excellent condition • Bose stereo in great condition--head unit, amp, and cd changer • Power windows work • Transmission shifts smoothly and works fine • Lights and signals work (except for an apparent short that makes the front right blinker light burn out) • Power door locks work • Multi-function power seats work • Power seats work well. Passenger seat heater works great, driver's side is weak, rear heaters work perfectly • Brakes work fine (though we haven't driven at high speeds for a while!) • Front wipers work • Air bags have never been deployed • CV joints seem fine -- we've replaced some of the joints and boots in the past couple years Could use work: • Needs shocks, likely a few bushings would help it a great deal• Cam plugs weep -- they don't leak, but they weep • Air conditioning does not work (blown compressor) • There's a small exhaust leak, which we have not investigated -- can't guarantee it will smog, but have no reason to believe that it won't if the exhaust leak is addressed • Rear wiper has been removed • Nonglare film on rearview mirrors is peeling • It has various body dents and scrapes -- nothing major, and the couple of larger ones could be removed with suction tools • There's a washer fluid leak in the reservoir, which can be sealed. Washer system works. • The air bag warning light on the dash is always on because of a sensor problem • The strut that keeps the hood open is broken (we use a vice grip) IMPORTANT DETAILS—PLEASE READ AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS PAYMENT: Full payment due within three days of auction completion.
