1960 Corvette Convertible I have the original 283 engine that was in the car when I purchased it. This is included in the sale of this vehicle. It does need to be rebuilt, the block is fine but I believe the cam snapped. The car currently has a 400 cu in engine that's balanced and blueprinted. This engine was done by our local NAPA Auto Engine Shop and it purrs like a kitten. This kitten is actually a tiger because its aspirated by twin four barrels. The ignition has been upgraded to an MSD system. The 4 speed manual transmission is tight. I was told Capital Corvettes did a frame off restoration on this car before I purchased it and I believe that to be true. The paint has a couple imperfections here and there but there is not a car show that we have not attended that she hasn't taken 1st place in. Chrome is of driver quality with some small pitting. The interior is great except for a wear mark on the piping of the drivers seat. All gauges work. Wonderbar radio works. Wipers work but are not on the car because I never drove it in the rain.. Clock does not work. The convertible top is white and in great shape. I have a hard top for it but it needs a lot of tlc. All of the hardware is missing so its more or less a shell with good glass. The frame is rust free. I have the original tires and wheels also. Contact me if you have any questions or would like additional pictures.
