Hello there folks! Up for grabs is this rare great find... 1969 GMC C1500 Fleetside. "I am going to tell you as much as I know about it " The body is very straight and has no body damage. Truck was painted some months ago. I waxed it to bring the shine as much as I could. Paint is overall in good shape, but it needs some touches in a few spots. The seat was reupholstered in green and the interior was also painted and worked on. A new radio was put on and It works fine. It has a towing tool installed Front lights work fine, lights on the back need attention as it seems one works, but not both. Interior light works. The gas tank was brought down and cleaned. So was the gas lines. Has new gas cap. A new/reconditioned carburetor has been put in. New radiator. New battery, new gas pump, new starter, new alternator. New spark plugs and synthetic oil and filter. Motor starts every time with no problem. HOWEVER, when I run it and the RPMs go high it stalls. I do not know what is the problem. It could be the distributor, the cables or the timing, etc. Clutch seems to work fine. Transmission shifts easy. Windows go up and down. The dashboard has two tears. I put black tape on them. The bed has been recently painted to protect it. The shocks match... Tires have a lot of thread left , but they seem dry. Items need attention: Instruments are not working, windshield needs replacing. Other than the windshield glass is fine. Doors open and close with key, but do NOT lock properly. The rims do not match. It has two of the GMC classic style and two others as seen in pictures. I do have one more rim to match and two of the center pieces to match the set that will go with the truck. (as shown in pictures). This Classic is in very good shape as you can see in the pictures. Please, please... if you have any questions on anything ask before bidding as I do not want to have anyone assuming anything. I have great feedback.
