Up for auction is a 2001 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle. Just turned 18k miles. This bike runs, rides, stops, shifts through all the gears, etc. I purchased it from an individual and it needed some work. I have corrected most of the issues, but it is not perfect. At idle you can hear a "clacking", sounds somewhat like the cam chains and/or clutches. Once you rev it a bit, the sound goes away.I've ridden it around, I don't think it's a bottom-end or anything serious, but the sound is noticeable at idle, even when fully warmed-up. At the end of the description I'll have a youtube link with full walk-around, start-up, etc. There are a couple nicks/dings on the tank, scratches/gouges on the side fairings, and marks on the upper fairing and ram air tubes as well. I tried to take pictures of everything, so if there's anything you want better pictures of, just let me know and I can post them or email. Here is a list of modifications on the bike: Puig carbon-look windscreen, carbon-look side mirrors, carbon look levers as well. The headlights are HIDs, not sure of the brand but they have big ballasts powering them. The high beam sometimes flickers for a bit until it stays on. I assume it takes a bit to "warm-up". The low beam comes on right away when the bike starts-up. The turn signals are aftermarket, and all of them work just fine. The rear tail light is clear with red bulbs, and works great as well. There is a switch on the side for underglow lighting, that has been disconnected. I'm not a fan of that, and haven't messed with it. The switch is mounted on the left side fairing. The foot pegs appear aftermarket, but I do not know the brand. The front fender as well as the heel guards appear to be real carbon fiber. There is also a D&D pipe, anodized master cylinder cover + oil fill plug, and the Dunlop tires have less than 1k miles on them. I live in the northern part of Dallas Texas. Anyone is welcomed to come by and inspect the bike, fire it up, and ride it around my storage area(if you show me your class M license). I have a clean/clear Texas title in hand(still in previous owner's name but not dated), as well as bill of sale and Texas title transfer form. The tags are still good as well. The bike has a rear passenger seat, and I do not have the "solo" cowl for it. Please look at all of the pictures and ask me anything you want about the bike. Trying to be 100% up front/honest about every aspect of the bike, but I'm sure I've missed something. I prefer texts and not calls, but you're welcome to text me anytime at 469-three23-6four97. I will require a $200 deposit within 24 hours of the auction ending Via Paypal, and the rest paid at the time of pick-up via cash, or check, but if it is anything besides cash it needs to be during normal banking hours so I can go immediately to make sure the funds are good. You can also pay via bank transfer to my Chase bank account as well. Either way, the bike needs to be paid-for in full before it is picked-up. I can deliver for a reasonable fee, just ask, or I can accommodate most shippers, just let me know what the plan is. Also, I will be out of town from December 31 - Jan 2nd with limited access to my phone/email. As long as the deposit is received, I have no issues with you picking-up the bike once I get back, just realize that it can't be picked-up those 3 days that I am gone.
