This bus has been mechanically gone through with a rebuilt # matching duel carbs block stamp# (CB064647) 1700 CC 2L motor with about 45,000 miles. Very vary rare to see a VW bus air cooled motor with factory A/C. I talked to a lot of German motorist and the experts told me to check for German markings and factory brackets and mounts, it has it all! Rebuilt solex duel carbs, new battery, etc.. Engine bay is clean but not spotless, because it was a daily driver. My VW cruises all day long on the hi-way at 75 m.p.h. without missing a single beat! Brakes stops good. Drives, steers, shifts out through all the gears nice and smooth as it should do. Very reliable bus, starts right up. Underneath this bus is very dry with no sign of rust, never undercoated and all original. This little VW never seen snow or been driven in the rain. Always in sunny Southern CA. No rust in floor pan or any of the fenders wells, very solid. Bus was never hit or in any major accidents, the body is exceptionally straight. Battery tray has absolutely no corrosion I mention this because they are prone to rust. The body and paint on this vehicle has been completely done up using a single stage paint system, then color sanded and buffed out to a mirror like finish, it is very smooth. This is a sun dial model, never had a rear tire so it is nice and clean and has more space in the back. Paint is about 9 years old and is a 8 out of 10, not a trailer queen but not vary far from being a nice show bus. All windows where pulled out before prime and paint begun, when finished all windows and new seals where installed. This bus has 5 brand new 14" tires with painted rims. All new Brazilian rubber door and window seals, new front glass tinted windshield, all new professionally installed interior seats to original pattern with new foam padding, new tail light lens, new turn signal lights, new chrome door handles, storage box, original stool redone in factory nos materials, cot, bug screen, tow package, and original electrical extension cable.Cute new orange flower poverty curtains. Super nice and original clean cabinets. Includes table, spice rack, and closet. All new rubber around front seats and all matching rubber in the cargo section to the front floor. Working pump sink . Has pop top seal not installed, Canvas has no rips, but the zippers on windows need to be replaced. Clear Arizona title.
