Up for sale is a 1971 Datsun 240z that was originally purchased by an attorney in St. Petersburg, Florida from Gulf Coast Motors. Vehicle has been locally owned in Lexington, Ohio last 35 years by local businessman. Second owner did not drive vehicle in snow or rain and has always been kept inside storage. Vehicle has been in storage for 16 years and was recently purchased from second owner in his 90's. Vehicle has been serviced to include: all fluids changed, radiator flushed and new hoses installed, new thermostat, new thermostat housing and gasket, new clutch slave cylinder and hydraulic hose, new brake fluid and system bleed. This is a running and driving car! The vehicle has the original "numbers matching" 6 cylinder engine and 4spd manual transmission. The Datsun has the original "ugly" hubcaps on it, but included in the sale is a set of stylish 1978 Datsun 280z hubcaps. Vehicle comes with original Nissan toolkit and jack. Photos of interior speak for themselves. Original 3pt "Z" seat belts are intact. The vehicle is in excellent condition for a 44 year old vehicle and includes documentation from previous two owners. Documentation includes old service records, letters discussing the vehicle, and dealer records. The vehicle was repainted in the 1983, but remained original color.
