Vehicle Detail
This is a unique car that is a thrill to drive. A 2006 M45 Sport with the technology package is unusual, but this one also has a modified air intake and exhaust. It adds another 20 hp so it's almost at 360 hp. I am the second owner in the car has been garage kept and serviced at the dealer (Mike Ward, Highlands Ranch) since it was purchased. There has never been any smoking or pets and kids have been in the backseat very little. Mostly it was used for going to work and to and from the golf course. It has 19 inch performance tires and an amazing upgraded Bose surround sound system. The car also has LoJack installed, but it is not currently active. You could turn it back on. I have all of the original keys, key-chains, manuals, service records, everything. The new performance tires have about 2000 miles on them. The oil change was just done with full synthetic and the transmission was just flushed and cleaned. The car drives great and everything works. It has never been in an accident. The complete CARFAX has just been run and is clean. I can email you a copy if you would like to see it. The only thing I have noticed, is that there is a dent on the gas cap cover. That could be replaced also. Kelly Blue Book value for private party is $13,753 but that doesn't include the modified intake, exhaust and LoJack that was added after purchase. I'm sure this is the cleanest, fastest and best maintained one in Denver. I am asking $10,950 or best offer. I have the title in hand and there are no liens. If you're not familiar with the M45 Sport, below are some quotes from Car and Driver and Road and Track from their online reviews:Quotes from the Road and Track Review: "The specification sheet checks the right boxes: class-leading horsepower, standard 19-inch wheels and 245 section tires, five-speed manumatic transmission, a sport package that offers grippier rubber, sharper steering, and stiffer suspension. It's a player." "The M45 packs the Q's 4.5-liter, DOHC V-8, cranking out 335 horsepower (final spec had yet to be decided as we went to press). Compare this with BMW and Cadillac's V-8 variants, rated at 325 and 320 horses, respectively. " "Most of our wheel time was spent in an M45 Sport, and it is, as you'd expect, the road animal of the M lineup. The 4.5-liter V-8 speaks smoothness and lust through its four stainless-steel exhaust pipes. Its 333 pound-feet of torque are all present and accounted for, and the transmission's sharp response and well-matched ratios make the most of it. We'll have to wait until we get one to our test track, but our Butt-o-Meter indicates it'll be at or near the top of the heap. The tranny's way-cool throttle-blip, rev-matching function makes you want to use the manual side of the gate, as it eliminates the shift shock delivered by most automatics when downshifting. Electronics don't always do things better, but this is one case where they do." Quotes from the Car and Driver Review of the M45 Sport: "The Sport version tested here flaunts 19-inch wheels, a retuned suspension, and rear active toe control. The latter is an electrically powered system that produces a brief surge of opposite-phase steering (the wheels turn right about one degree when you turn left) to induce quick turn-in, then switches to same-phase steering (also about one degree) to stabilize the car in mid-bend." "The Sport model has more aggressively bolstered seats with double-stitched seams, and they proved quite supportive and comfortable in use. It is also an entertaining car to drive. A keyless fob allows the vehicle to recognize its owner as the driver comes near, permitting said driver to unlock the car at the touch of a button on the pull handle, get inside, and then touch the start button while depressing the brake pedal. This is all possible with the fob stashed in your pocket or stored for safekeeping in a little spring-loaded niche in the dash. It is also an entertaining car to drive. This is all possible with the fob stashed in your pocket or stored for safekeeping in a little spring-loaded niche in the dash. Perhaps more important, passing performance is strong in the M45, and the car will cruise serenely at high speed without much noise or vibration troubling its occupants. In the M45 Sport we flung about on the roads of the Angeles National Forest, this behavior became highly addictive. The well-damped suspension and the accurate and communicative steering cooperated beautifully in the twisties, allowing sporty driving even with the car's stability-control system switched on. The M45 Sport comes with xenon headlights and climate-controlled front seats, so its Journey package only adds the balance of those items. A Technology package adds DVD navigation, intelligent cruise control, a five-channel DVD Bose Studio Surround stereo with 14 speakers (two in each front seat) that has to be heard to be believed, a lane-departure warning system, and XM satellite radio."
