Up for your consideration is a late 60's early 70's Montesa Cota 247 Trials bike. Not sure on exact year. VIN # 21 M 5822. This is a 5 speed right hand shift model. I have never heard this bike run although it does turn over with good compression. I stuck a light down the spark plug hole and all looks clean. the exhaust is in great shape and the silencer looks very solid. The fiberglass tank and seat are in great shape. The front forks appear to be straight and rust free, but oily and in need of fork seals. the rear shocks cycle nicely with smooth rebound. brakes are not hooked up, looks like it needs all new cables. front fender is missing and rear fender is cracked. This bike has been sitting in a dry storage container for over 15 years. definitely need a little love before it is put to the test.
