Vehicle Detail
I can say with certainty that everything works with the exception of the Windshield Wiper Fluid System (replaced the switch/actuator but didn't go any further), and the the little red light on the dash. The other item is the rheostat (Heat Knob) located below the rear seat, I replaced the heater boxes (brand new) and have not had a need for any heat boost under the rear seat. There is no rust on the floor pans or the crucial frame member. The rear wheel fenders have some surface rust but only affecting the paint. The paint is original but the engine hatch is not and was repainted some time ago to match the car. I have also gone through most every bolt of the car, including the transmission but did not going through the rear suspension. The rear brakes & wheel hubs are fine, but the bushings and bearings did not need to be replaced in the rear while I've owned it so thus they are untouched by me (though i estimate they have plenty of life left given how it handles). The front bearings are new. Other than what I have detailed above, you'll notice the one glaring after market feature and that is the Center Console. It has an AutoMeter Vacuum Gauge & Voltmeter along with Cup Holders and 3 LED Toggle Safety Switches that can be hooked up to anything you like. Originally I was going to put a work light in the rear and under the hood but I ran out of time so the switches are yours to configure for your choosing. Also there are 2 USB inputs mounted on the side that feed to the RetroSound Stereo (retrosound.com/product-p/model-two.htm) and I have also run the coax and "amp on" cables to the rear seat but there is no Amplifier. I feel like I'm writing a novel and although I could write a lot more about this car I will just give you a list of parts/features/repairs and feel free to ask any questions you like. 1641cc Engine w/ Alternator (<1000miles) Bocar 34 PICT Carburetor (New) Retro Sound Model II Bluetooth capable Stereo Unit & car is pre-wired for amplifier/sub External Oil Filter AutoMeter Oil Temperature Gauge w/ sending unit on oil pump output line New Heater Boxes (& floor vents to regulate heat) All seals & mounting bushings in Transmission (Axles are newer but not replaced by me) Front Suspension upgrade with Polyurethane Bushings Full Size spare w/ 4-way wrench & 1970's Ratchet Style Jack Front Cabin Fan Unit w/ all vents in place & functioning Rear Defrost (Original one not working, someone installed an aftermarket over existing) Very loud "trucker style" horn (and its not plastic) New Front Windshield (no water leaks) Steering Box & Front Suspension Tires (bought first year I owned it) Seat Belts - Self Retracting
