1974 ford gran torino read before you bid, this car has to sell on this auction , we are moving and I can not take the car with me, it is my loss and your gain. car needs to be towed. its not ready to drive yet. selling as is. new bosch battery. this car has been sitting for years and needs work to finish, the car need to be towed, ( why ) ? because the car needs a new gas tank ( rust inside ) ( i start and run the car from a gas can ) the power booster for the brakes is not connected, the carburator linkage for the gas pedal is not connected, the transmission linkage to the carburator is not connected . the car runs good, you need to fine tune the carb air fuel mixture, timing, etc. small stuff. this is an emergency sale I do not have time to finish the car, the car is sold as is condition. the engine has a few hours of run time. the transmission worked fine before the engine was rebuilt. let me tell you about the good the bad and the ugly of this car. I bought this car 7 years ago and wanted to make a starsky and hutch car , I removed the 302 engine and totally rebuild the engine. the block was borded 40 over with hyper pistons 500 lift cam kit with proper springs for the cam.everything on the engine is new or rebuilt ,starter, alternator, water pump, rebuilt holley, cam bearings, main bearings, pistons rings,, brand new edelbrock intake manifold, wires, etc... I installed headers and complete dual exhaust system . ( it looks rusty, but its new front to back ) surface rust from sitting. I am not a body man so I did some body work to fix some rust with fiberglass , for this quick sale I painted the car with spray cans to make it look better, im just trying to get some of my money back. the car needs a lot of body work to complete, the interior is nice but to make it right I would recover the dashboard, redo the headliner, and carpet. its hard to see a car like this with black interior, and you almost never see them with a new detailed engine. if you paint this car you will have a beautiful car. the good, new engine, black interior. nice wheels, very good trim. the bad ,needs to be finished, the ugly, rust here and their. the front windshield should be changed pitting on glass and small crack it is my loss and your gain clean title paypal pay for car and make arrangements to ship the car a.s.a.p. you also get a cloth car cover ( needs to be washed ) and 1:18 die cast starsky and hutch car.
