1971 first year for 500 four model 3/71 beautiful one owner bike. I did not plan on selling this but circumstance requires that I sell a couple. Currently has a period 4into1 pipe with homemade cone screwed to end. Bike is wicked fast, i went through carbs they are very clean. I have not tried to detail this bike pulled out of garage washed dust off installed new battery n gas and fired on first kick after sitting for 30 years. Had 10,020 miles on it in 1985 when oil was changed and valves adjusted by dealer purchased from. Only 800 miles since then. Has original tires but I have a nice set of universal trials tires that can go with it. May need a rectifier or something electric , starter rolls fine when you jump selanoid but starter just clicks when you hit button. Starts first kick when choked cold. New plugs installed and front brake checked. Clean fluid in front reservoir master cylinder pumps as should but needs new hose from block under steering head to steel line that goes to caliber. Overall one of the nicest examples I have seen in along while, no pitting no rust of any kind and only a few minor blemishes. I need to thin heard but I will not give it away I know what a great find this is. All lights and signals work as they should, all gauges light as well. Original owner added a dash with amp and oil pressure gauges but easy to remove if you wish. I also found bolts with original yellow paint from factory so this engine has never been open. The clutch feels good and needs very little, All paper work is in order and it has clear title. Pictures tell the tale. Thanks for looking.
